Call for members for the new NICA PhD council
Are you interested in building a research community in the field of cultural analysis and representing the interests of the NICA PhDs? NICA is setting up a PhD council, and is looking for members!
The council would play a pivotal role in facilitating a strong NICA junior researchers’ community, for example, by organizing regular and/or occasional, instructive and/or fun events, like work-in-progress meetings, informal get-togethers, masterclasses, workshops or even conferences, or starting our very own NICA blog. Joining the council will provide you with the chance to meet fellow PhDs, start interesting initiatives, and gain valuable, CV-worthy experience. The NICA PhD council will advise NICA’s director, Pepita, on any and all matters of concern to NICA’s PhDs, including the NICA program and any issues that concern the NICA student body. The council will be represented in NICA’s advisory board and is invited to join their biannual meetings. If you’re keen to join as a member for the council, and you’re a PhD registered with NICA, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pepita, Tessa, Kim
Also on behalf of Ruby de Vos (PhD member of the NICA advisory board), and Chris Williams-Wynn (international affiliated PhD)
